I wish that it snowed here in Texas; but we only get a cold rainy sleet.
Hi Kathy-
These are beautiful winter shots. I sometimes wish that wre had snow - but the thought quickly dissipates!
--Sara in San Antonio
The snow really forces me to focus on the structure of the plants rather than vibrant summer colors. Nice shots, Kathy!
Hi Kathy, if it was not for the snow in the back ground, at a glance, they look like cotton bulbs. Great photos
~ Life is Good ~
Kathy, I suppose that our backyard will look like that in the next day or so, again! Great photos!
Kathy,
You definitely have some snow pictures - the first one looks like a cotton plant ready for harvest. :)
Steve
Taylor - one of the great things about Ontario is the distinct differences of the four seasons
Sara - you don't know what you are missing, skiing, sledding, snowshoeing even Ice Fishing
Roy - "Life" is indeed good
Tony and Darcy - Winter can make for some great shots on a clear day ... the trouble is getting a clear day
Steve - not much there for the old boll weevil ... I'm afraid he would freeze if he didn't starve first.
John - There you go ... no vibrant summer or fall colours to view ... just the contrast between brown and white
Kathy,
Beautiful photos! You have so much more snow than we do....
Jo
I, too, thought they looked like cotton. My garden is jsut brown, but we're supposed to get snow this week.
Jo - a lot has disappeared in the last few days but there is still 6 inches on the back deck.
Leslie - I should have used the "cotton balls" in a name the subject post
